Threadbare Song #60 - Pinky Swear
This week the good folks at @wildwoodsongwritingcontest offered “Promises” as a prompt. So… I spent the day thinking of childhood, playground stuff like spit-shaking on a promise and pinky-swearing. That led to thinking about my sometimes struggle to hold on to and trust even the promises I know are true, especially in times like these. But, alas, I believe that the winter will not prevail.
